District 47's Elevate program recognizes employees who uphold and exemplify the district's mission, vision, and core values and who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of students, schools, and the community. For the Winter Elevate Award, we received 35 nominations.

Each holiday season, North Elementary comes together to support families through its Help-A-Husky Holiday Assistance Program. The program is designed to alleviate the stress that the holidays can bring to families who may need extra support.

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 proudly celebrates North Elementary for earning an Exemplary designation on the 2024–2025 Illinois Report Card, ranking the school among the top 10% of schools in the state.

North Elementary is proud to welcome Jessica Korn, a student teacher from Iowa State University, to Summer Margiotta’s first grade classroom this fall. For Jessica, returning to District 47 has been a full-circle moment.
