Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 proudly celebrates North Elementary for earning an Exemplary designation on the 2024–2025 Illinois Report Card, ranking the school among the top 10% of schools in the state.

One component of the School Report Card is the annual summative designation for each school. Designations are based on academics, student success, school culture and climate, and financial investments. Click here for a detailed description of the five ISBE designation categories

North Elementary students achieved remarkable success, outperforming the state in English Language Arts (ELA) growth, math growth, and science proficiency. Science scores, in particular, were 33% higher than the state average.

This success was achieved through the shared dedication of our students, teachers, and families, all working together to strive for success. As a result, we have built a community that celebrates growth, perseverance, and excellence. Our Exemplary rating is a reflection of this teamwork and the strong partnerships that make North a special place to learn.
